Fundraising Friday - Velo Special
For this week's Fundraising Friday, the focus is on Richard Banks who is taking part in Velo Birmingham this September. Cycling 100 miles is enough of a challenge already, or so you would have thought, but Richard has decided to make it even trickier.
Richard will be cycling on a fold-up bicycle with small wheels, designed for short distance commutes. Having cycled long distances on one before, Richard is confident that he'll be able to complete Velo Birmingham in his own unique style.
Richard is raising money for QEHB Charity's Cancer Appeal, which provides added extras to patients being treated for cancer at QEHB as well as funding cutting edge research.
