Funds soar at Feathers Free Festival

On Saturday 12th September the generous owners of the Feathers Inn, Lichfield, dedicated their latest Feather Free Festival to the Giles’ Trust Fund at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity.

A range of stalls and activities, such as face painting and a bouncy castle, provided great entertainment as well as brilliant live performing acts, such as The Jents and 7th Son.

The festival raised over a staggering £1,100 for the Giles’ Trust, which is funding vital brain tumour research benefiting patients at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.

Becca Harris, Communications Officer at QEHB Charity, said: “This was a brilliant and fun family event that raised a fantastic amount for the Giles’ Trust, which is making a huge difference to both patients and staff at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. QEHB Charity wants to thank the owners of Feathers Inn for choosing to support us, and all of the acts and stalls for making it such a great day.”
