Generous students make donation to patients at QEHB

Sixth Form Students from the University of Birmingham School made a visit to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham in order to make a generous donation of chocolates for patients and staff at the hospital.

Talha Islam, Mohammed Tariq Rasheed and Mohammed Ubaid are all Charity Ambassadors for the school, and decided to do something special to help a local cause this Christmas.

Mohammed said: “Many of us know people who have been treated at QEHB and so we wanted to do something to make people at the hospital smile this Christmas. We all thought that donating chocolates was a great way to do this!”

Cathryn Worth, Fundraising Manager at QEHB Charity said: “Our thanks go to Talha, Mohammed and Mohammed for their kind donation of chocolates for patients at the hospital. Such kind gifts help to raise spirits at the hospital, amongst patients young and old.”
