Good Hope Hospital Charity receives hampers for Christmas day

Good Hope Hospital received a special delivery of Cadbury chocolate hampers for patients and staff to share over the festive period.

Laura Power, Fundraising Manager, together with some keen volunteers delivered hampers to wards all over the hospital, to bring festive spirit to patients and staff.

Sara Hendrickson from Ward 7 (pictured) said: "Thank you to Good Hope Hospital Charity for donating these hampers, it can be difficult to be in hospital over Christmas, for patients and for staff, as we'd all rather be celebrating with our families. However, that isn't always possible but having some goodies to share on the day really brightened up Christmas day."

Laura said: "It was a joy to deliver the hampers and to see the smiles it brought to everybody on the wards. The Charity is excited to continue to bring added extras to patients and staff throughout 2018."
