Good Hope Hospital free family fun day- a fantastic success!

Hundreds of pounds have been raised to support Good Hope Hospital and a good time was had by all as a free family fun day supporting the hospital charity proved a roaring success.

Families flocked to the event held by Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust at the Ramada Hotel in Sutton Coldfield which saw a host of attractions on offer for all ages with hundreds of staff, hospital supporters and the local community all coming together for a day of family fun.

Among the popular attractions on the day were donkey rides, bungee trampolines, a bouncy castle, an animal man with his mini zoo of creatures and critters, a puppet show and face painting! The Charity held a teddy tombola raising funds as well as smiles!

Mike Hammond, chief executive of the Good Hope Hospital Charity said: “It was a really enjoyable day and it was great to see so many families, both staff and the local community, come together to have a fun family day out and raise funds for Good Hope Hospital.”

“The monies raised which will go towards providing new equipment and hospital improvements which are above and beyond the core NHS funding. Thank you to everyone who made the event such a great success.”
