Kind-hearted business supports local hospital

A kind-hearted business has chosen Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity as its ‘charity of the year’.

The Birmingham branch of high-flying investment business Quilter Cheviot has recently pledged to support QEHB Charity for the year 2015/16, after choosing the charity as its official charity partner.

The generous firm will raise money for QEHB Charity throughout the year, helping to support countless patients and their families.

David Jupp, Executive Director at Quilter Cheviot Birmingham, said: “QEHB Charity is a cause close to Quilter Cheviot’s heart and indeed many people across Birmingham. We are proud to show our support for the hospital and the amazing work, exceptional quality of care and highly specialist services it provides to patients across the whole of the UK.

“This year we have pledged to raise thousands of pounds to support some of the hospital’s specialist services, many of which are recognised as the UKs leading treatments in their field.

“We will be supporting a variety of fundraising events, such as the QE Tennis Day and Warwickshire Cricket Tournaments, as well as getting our team involved in some fundraising activities of their own, from wing-walking to abseiling.

“We hope our partnership will raise vital funds to ensure the hospital continues to be able to deliver exceptional standards of care to its patients and their families.”

Laura Power, Fundraising Officer at QEHB Charity, said: “We are thrilled to have been chosen as Quilter Cheviot’s Charity partner and are incredibly grateful for their support.

“We are looking forward to working with David and the rest of the Quilter Cheviot team in the year ahead and warmly welcome them to QEHB Charity.”
