Laughter is the best medicine!
Join QEHB Charity for a night full of laughter and help raise money for kids with cancer.
On 8th October at Jongleurs club on Broad Street, QEHB Charity will host a night of entertainment and laughter, with performances from some of the region’s most up and coming comedians. Birmingham funny man James Cook will headline the event, whilst other entertainers include Masai Graham who recently came second in TV Channel Dave’s ‘Top 10 Jokes of the Edinburgh Festival’, Craig Deeley, Tom Christian, Steve Dodd and Graham Milton.
Tickets for the comedy night cost £8 which includes entry, a meal and a night full of comedy entertainment. All monies raised by the event will be donated to QEHB Charity’s VIP Treatment Appeal which will fund a new paediatric recovery room in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s Cancer Centre for children to recuperate in after receiving their radiotherapy treatment.
Fundraising Assistant at QEHB Charity, Sian Averill, said: “We’re delighted the QEHB Charity Comedy Night is returning for another year. This time it is part of the fantastic Birmingham Comedy Festival, which promises to be bigger and better than ever!
“The VIP Treatment Appeal will make a huge difference to youngsters at the hospital by providing confidential interview rooms, a parent space and a play area. As well as this, every child will receive a toy after completing their treatment to mark their bravery.
“We hope loads of people get involved in what promises to be a fantastic night full of laughter and fun!”
