LSH Mercedes Birmingham makes surprise delivery for neonatal department

On Sunday 3 December LSH Mercedes Birmingham paid a special visit to Aston Villa Football Club for Heartlands and Good Hope Hospital Charities' 25th anniversary celebration to surprise the nurses with a brand new car!

The luxury car company are known for their charitable spirit and were keen to support the hospitals' neonatal departments by giving them the car for free. The nurses asked for a car to be able to transport babies, who are well enough, and their parents, between the two hospitals, as currently families are having to wait for patient transport.

Andy Tindall, Aftersales Manager, presented the car to Louise Milligan, Neonatal Nurse and Stacey Shaw, Neonatal Nurse and Ward Manager across the two sites.

Louise said: "Thank you so much to LSH Mercedes for this incredible donation it will make a huge difference to families on the two neonatal units, and we are so grateful to the hospital charity for organising the event and handover."
