Mercedes supports wounded troops

Generous automotive brand Mercedes Central Birmingham is supporting military patients and their families.

The kind-hearted company is supporting Fisher House, a ‘home away from home’ for military patients and their families, by supplying a Mercedes E Class for use by guests and staff at Fisher House, completely free of charge.

Employees at the charitable firm have also raised money for the house by holding an F1 event in November, and are set to add to their total by holding a festive ‘Santa Run’ in December.

Justine Davy, Head of Fundraising at QEHB Charity, said: “We are thrilled Mercedes has kindly decided to support us. The Mercedes E Class will be of great use to both families and staff at Fisher House, whilst the money kindly donated will help us continue to provide free accommodation to the families and loved ones of injured and ill military troops.”
