Motorcycle club make a special Christmas delivery

Just as Father Christmas is getting his reindeer ready to deliver presents to children around the world, the Spitfire Motorcycle Club hopped onto their bikes and visited Good Hope and Heartlands Hospitals to deliver presents to children who will be in hospital over Christmas.

Representatives from Spitfire MCC, a Birmingham club who meet in Tyburn, roared their way into the hearts of children at the hospitals with their kind donation of toys. It is a special time of year, but for many children, their Christmas will be spent in hospital.

Laura Power, Fundraising Manager at Good Hope Hospital Charity said: "It is difficult being in hospital over the Christmas period, especially for children. Thanks to the kind donations from Spitfire MCC, children at Good Hope and Heartlands Hospitals will receive toys and gifts on the special day, helping to brighten up their Christmas.

"The hospital charity is incredibly grateful to Spitfire MCC for all of their amazing fundraising efforts, as not only have they delivered toys this Christmas, they also delivered chocolate eggs at Easter, and have raised money for Fisher House, the home away from home for military patients and their families at QEHB."
