Nurse shares story of miraculous journey to motherhood

Kate Mansbridge, an A&E nurse at the QE hospital, was told at 27 that she would be unable to have any children, after she went through an early menopause. But after a devastating car accident on holiday in France, her body underwent a miraculous ‘reboot’, an “extremely rare medical phenomenon” meaning that just three years after the crash, Kate was able to conceive the daughter she’d always wanted.  Now 43, and with daughter Ruby at age six, Kate’s incredible story hit the news today; you can read about it here, or pick up the New Day newspaper for 50p to learn more.
