'Shots with your Coffee' event supports patients with brain tumours.

Since early 2016, it was always Tony Warren’s intention to hold a photographic exhibition at the Quarter Horse Coffee Roaster’s on Bristol Street, Birmingham.  However, when Tony discovered he had two brain tumours, life brought about a different focus.  With the date for the exhibition having been set for 11th November, Tony underwent a Craniotomy for a biopsy at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham on 2nd November.

Despite post-operative tiredness and some associated speech issues, supported by a willing army of family and friends, the show went ahead as planned!  Apart from an encouraging raft of general sales, images were donated by Tony to a raffle, raising £250.00 for The Giles’ Trust, a fund at the QEHB Charity which focuses on research and support for patients with brain tumours.

Tony is really grateful to both the teams at Solihull AMU and QEHB where he has been cared for and treated.and was so pleased that the 'Shots with your coffee' event went so well and was really welll supported.
