Spitfire MCC make generous donation

The fantastic team at Spitfire Motorcycle Club have carried on their amazing tradition of donating Easter eggs for children at Good Hope Hospital and Heartlands Hospital each Easter.

Spitfire MCC has donated Easter eggs to Good Hope and Heartlands for the past four years, and have also supported Fisher House, the home away from home for military patients and their families at QEHB. As well as donating Easter Eggs, the team have raised money by holding ride-outs every August Bank Holiday for the past four years.

The eggs were gratefully received at the hospital, where they were given out to children who were in hospital over the Easter period. Justine Davy, Head of Fundraising for the hospital charity, said: "Thank you so much to the wonderful people at Spitfire MCC who have been so generous in supporting children at Good Hope and Heartlands over the past four years.

"It was wonderful to see just how many eggs they brought with them, and I know that the children being treated at the hospital over the Easter period will really enjoy them!"
