Take on the challenge of a lifetime for QEHB Charity!

Do you long for a challenge? Do you want to experience a once in a life time opportunity? Are you committed to raising money for the QE Hospital charity?

Then why not trek a challenging 100km through the awe-inspiring Sahara Desert and help raise vital funds for a ward or appeal of your choice!

From a flat desert floor scattered with ancient fossils, to perfect wind-blown sand-dunes, and salt-pans creating strange mirages, trekking the Sahara for QEHB Charity is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Nikki, who experienced trekking the Sahara Desert with Discover Adventure, said: “I know that I have left a little piece of my heart in the Sahara, but I have taken away so much more, and I’m sure I’m not alone.

“It has been an immense privilege to have taken part in this challenge… it is an experience that I will treasure for the rest of my life.”

Abi Cligg, Fundraising Officer at QEHB Charity, said: “This is a wonderful opportunity to experience something extraordinary whilst helping to raise vital funds for patients at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.

“We are very excited to be able to offer such a great opportunity to our fundraisers, with the support of Discover Adventure, and hope plenty of people embrace the chance to trek the Sahara!”

There is a choice of dates available throughout the year and a minimum of £2,300 or £2,400 sponsorship to raise, depending on the date you choose to take part.
