WWE superstars visit Fisher House

Two wrestling superstars visited Fisher House on Saturday, 16 April, in order to show their support of injured and unwell servicemen and women being treated at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, which is the centre for defence medicine in the UK.

The Soamoan American professional tag team consists of twin brothers known by the stage names of Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso. The champion pair visited Fisher House during their stay in Birmingham, where they took part in WWE Live; Wrestlemania Revenge Tour at the Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham.

Forty guests came to Fisher House, including former resident families, to meet and greet the pair, with many receiving photos with and autographs from the stars.

Laura Power, Senior Fundraiser at QEHB Charity, said: “This was certainly a first for Fisher House in regard to high-profile visitors! All those who attended the ‘meet and greet’ had an amazing time, and it was a pleasure to show Jimmy and Jey what Fisher House means to former and current residents. On behalf of QEHB Charity, I want to thank Jimmy and Jey for their show of support and giving up their free time following all of the wrestling!”
