The Assistant Manager of Solihull Moors Football Club, Gary Whild, has released a special message wishing the competitors from the Birmingham Adult Transplant Sports Team the very best of luck for the upcoming British Transplant Games.
The games are taking place in Newport from 25 to 29 July, and the team from Birmingham are looking forward to taking part in the event, one year on from the home games in Birmingham.
Gary Whild is a key member of the management at Solihull Moors F.C, and has been crucial in taking the club from the National North Division to the National League, the fifth tier of English football.
Martin Searle, Team Manager of the Birmingham Adult Transplant Sports Team, said: "Our thanks go to Gary for this kind message, the team is very grateful to everyone at Solihull Moors F.C for their support of our cause, and we are all looking forward to taking part in the Transplant Games later this month.
"Last year saw the Transplant Games come to our own city and we had great success. I am hoping that we will be able to do even better at this year's games!"
