University Hospitals Birmingham Charity is the official Charity of University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, registered with the Charity Commission under the registered charity number 1165716.

UHB Charity formerly operated under four brands - Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity, Heartlands Hospital Charity, Good Hope Hospital Charity and Solihull Hospital Charity. 

UHB Charity’s mission is to see an improvement in the health and wellbeing of the community through the services provided by University Hospital Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust and to improve the experiences of all the people who use the hospitals of University Hospital Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust in any capacity.

UHB Charity exists to support medical and health research, and to encourage excellence in healthcare for patients and their carers, wholly or mainly through the services provided by University Hospital Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.

Together with your help we raise money to provide world-class facilities for patients and their families at the four hospital sites that go over and above what the NHS can provide. We spend your generous donations on items from cutting-edge equipment, new departments to toys and games for children at the hospitals.

We align our values to those of the Trust and reflect them in our policies, procedures and how we interact with the communities we serve – Kind, Connected and Bold.
