Oncology Treatment Suite

Supporting the creation of a brand new day unit for oncology patients at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

The treatment centre will see up to 400 patients a month attend for their varying cycles of chemotherapy. We understand the cancer journey can be a difficult one and treatment can be tough so we want to ensure this treatment suite is as comfortable and welcoming as possible. This is especially important for our younger patients (16 - 25) who will have their own dedicated area within the unit.

UHB Charity is raising £110,000 to ensure the patient’s journey is as comfortable as possible and patients are put at ease whilst receiving treatment.  This campaign will fund the refurbishment of the new treatment suite  to the highest of standards.
